Following the business meeting, hop on the bus to downtown McKinney for “Bad Boys and Desperadoes of Old McKinney – Lies, Legends, and Truths”. This will be a fun and an educational trolley tour of historic downtown McKinney as we learn about desperados who frequented the area – Frank and Jesse James, Bonnie and Clyde, Belle Starr, and others. Narrators will be in period costumes! Or…..chill out at one of the wineries, or take one of the historic self-guided walking tours of downtown McKinney. Maps will be available.
Our evening banquet speaker will be Kevin Lacey of Airplane Repo fame! He is also a consultant to Texas Air Fleet, an independent technical services company serving the aviation finance and leasing community, and he mentors youth in the world of aviation at Aero Country Airport, McKinney.
The fly market will be located in the hospitality room, so come prepared to sell your items and see what other chapters have to offer. For our guests, during our Business Meeting, McKinney National Airport will conduct a tour of the tower, their new 40,000 square foot hangar, the Aircraft Rescue Truck, and possibly the classrooms for the McKinney High School Aviation Program and the Cirrus maintenance facility, located on the field.
