Ninety-Nines

Ninety-Nines are professional pilots for airlines, industry and government; we are pilots who teach and pilots who fly for pleasure; we are pilots who are technicians and mechanics. But first and foremost, we are women who love to fly!

The Houston Chapter of the Ninety-Nines was formed on July 6, 1983 by several female pilots in the Houston, TX area. Our group has grown to over 100 members and we participate in the Ninety-Nines tradition of airmarking at airports in the local area, poker runs, partner with local organizations to teach and mentor youth, and so much more to promote the love of flight.

  • Kickoff to Summer Party

    May 31 11:30am - 2:00 pm

    A relaxed lunch event where members of our chapter get together to celebrate all of our accomplishments over the year and enjoy the community we build at the Houston 99s.

    We will also install our new officers for the 2026-2027 year.

    An interactive session for chapter members to help plan our meetings, events, and other goals for the chapter for the 2026-2027 year.

  • Poker Run

    September 2026

    The 99s is excited to host a poker run in 2026! This exciting event will feature a number of airports in the Central and Eastern Texas where pilots will collect 5 cards to build their hands.

    This event will help us fundraise for scholarships from the 99s.
